Alys Beach Patternplay
Patternplay is a projection piece exhibited at the 2019 Digital Graffiti event in Alys Beach Florida. This piece itself is an experiment with 2D animated patterns as well as with a full-scale projected composition.

This piece was made during my second year at SCAD, or Savannah College of Art and Design in my third quarter. Under the instruction of John Colette, I was able to experience and experiment with this art form that focuses on light as a medium rather than a physical and permanent source. The overarching concept for this piece was to achieve a cohesive piece whilst using playful imagery that would appeal to children.

Below is a collection of the patterns included within the piece that make up the composition. Each pattern is hand-rendered at 8 fps and is set to loop.
